Gigantoni 500g

Gigantoni deriving from the words Giganti is Italian for "giants" and the oni ending it means "extra large." These giant tubes are usually baked in a similar way to canollini, stuffed and baked in a sauce. I tend to pack a backing dish with the pasta facing upwards and pour the bolognaise sauce into the pasta tapping the dish to ensure the air comes out and the sauce goes all the way down, top with cheese and bake.
